Research shows that teacher involvement with students and families garners student achievement. We’re a team. the student, the teacher, and the school are all working together to benefit our ‘kids’ and their futures. For that reason, all professionals are expected to attend school functions throughout the school year. This is our opportunity to reach out to our ‘customers’ beyond just the classroom. These activities include:
Meet the Teacher: 8/17/17:6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Wear your RPS Polo and dress code appropriate pants)

At the beginning of the year we will have a night where we invite the parents to come and learn the expectations of your room and the school. When planning that night keep the following in mind:
You will meet with your parents by yourself
You may plan what is going to be shared, as a team
It helps when grade levels:
Have a consistent grade level management system
Communicate in the same way

How to ensure that they are getting emails, phone calls and text from the school
