Job Descriptions

Dena Goddard is our full time Dyslexia Specialist (formerly Language Science Teacher). Her job is to:
  • Work with our students that qualify as Dyslexic.
  • Help identify students who may not have been identified as dyslexic.
  • Help teachers work


Becky Patterson is our GT Specialist. Her job is to:
  • Pull students Monday - Thursday
    • Will not pull out during during target time.
    • Each grade level will be pulled once a week for an extended period of time.
      • First grade will be pulled 1.5 hours a week.
      • Second grade will be pulled 2 hours a week.
      • 3rd - 5th will be pulled 2.5 hours a week
  • When she is not teaching she will be:
    • Pushing i/coach teaching or supporting student learning
    • Work with students and teachers in the STEAM Lab
  • Fridays will be her testing/planning training days

Mary Ann Ross is our Literacy Strategist this year. Her job is to:
  • Pull groups every day during target times. Groups may be fluid.
  • Work with teachers when not pulling groups
    • Plan with individual teachers
    • Plan with teams
    • Modeling lessons
    • Co - teach lessons
  • Push in - to classes as needed (need will be decided during Target Time Planning

Liz McCullough will be serving as our IC again this year. Her job is to:
  • Plan with individual teachers
  • Plan with teams
  • Modeling lessons
  • Co - teach lessons
  • Be a point of contact for new teachers
  • Be a point of contact for new to RO teachers
  • Pull student groups when needed (need will be decided during target time planning)
